Life happens. We fall off the wagon, skip a class, stress out, binge eat, watch too much Netflix and we get out of sync. It’s inevitable, but the best approach is to find balance.
Remember, every day you wake up is a day you can start fresh and start strong. Make an action plan to not let yourself go more than three-days without some sort of exercise. If you allow yourself too many days off, it’ll be much harder to re-establish a habit. Stay committed, stay focused, but don’t forget to live a little!
So, while there’s no exact science on how to juggle everything we hope these tips offer a little help. There are days when we feel like we can conquer the world and those we just want to sleep the day away. Just roll with the punches. Remember fitness is not a punishment, but a chance to improve your physical and mental awareness. No matter what you have going on, you deserve a little “me-time.” It’s okay to be selfish every now and again but be sure to make fitness a priority and get back on your plan. Plus, if you’re exercising you will be generating endorphins, which puts you in a better mood making life’s challenges easier to solve! Your friends and family are going to benefit from your time in the studio too 😉
