Below, we’ve highlighted some of our favourite Victoria Christmas festivities for you to enjoy!

Patio Gardens Christmas Market

Check out more than 60 local vendors who will be featured at the Patio Gardens Christmas Market! From 10am to 3pm on December 3rd, Patio Gardens is hosting their annual Christmas market featuring artisans, crafters, bakers, and more. Holiday Card Making

Penned Creations is hosting a holiday card making event at Irish Times Pub on December 5th. Receive step-by-step instructions as you create 5 cards and envelopes, 10 gift tags, and take home a pen! Self-Guided Holiday Food Tour

Experience a variety of holiday-themed food options on a self-guided tour of Downtown Victoria with Off The Eaten Track. This tour has no guide, no set time, and no groups. All you need is a foodie passport, your cellphone, and your taste buds! The app also provides stories and history as you move through each stop on the tour. The Magic of Christmas at the Butchart Gardens

Oak Bay Holiday Lights

Indigenous Artists’ Holiday Market

Check out this holiday market, featuring a variety of Indigenous artists and their crafts. This event is by free admission and can be found on the ground floor of the Royal BC Museum on December 2nd and 3rd, from 10am to 4pm.

HoHoHoliday 5 KM Run

Join participants from all over the country as they participate in this festive, fun run! Dress in your North Pole best, and support Make-A-Wish Canada in this virtual run challenge that can be completed any day from December 9 to 31, whenever suits your schedule! Ghosts of Christmas Past – Haunted Walking Tour

Discover the Past is offering a festive-themed ghostly walking tour for the month of December. These guided tours of Downtown Victoria are shifting away from their usual ghost tours to tell stories that cover festive, haunted experiences. Book your tickets online here

Lights of Wonder

The Downtown Victoria Business Association is hosting Lights of Wonder this year, featuring a series of festive activities including a light display, live entertainment, a beer garden, and a 40-foot Christmas tree. Accessible December 13th to 30th from 4pm to 9pm on weekdays and 4pm to 11pm on weekends. This is a first-time event you will not want to miss! For more information, click here.

Wild Oak Hair Collective

Catch the Christmas party and craft fair at Wild Oak Hair Collective on December 10th at 7pm. This market is set to feature a variety of local vendors, snacks, and beverages.
