THE HYBRID STRENGTH RACE

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND

Welcome to the Hybrid Strength Race, BPM’s original hybrid race – a strength-forward HYROX training event that pushes the limits of both muscle and mindset. Six stations. Six rows. One relentless test of grit.
This isn’t about who has the best cardio — it’s about who can move real weight under fatigue. Each round combines a punishing row with heavy, functional strength challenges. Finish it with pride, or get the best time for bragging rights and an epic prize pack. Trophy for 1st place and medals for the top 3 in each category.
 

The HYBRID STRENGTH EVENT:

  • 1 KM Row
  • 40 Front Rack KB Squats (24/16)
  • 1 KM Row
  • 50 Burpee Over Dumbbell
  • 1 KM Row
  • 60 Plate Ground to Overhead (45/25)
  • 1 KM Row
  • 70 DB Snatch (35/25)
  • 1 KM Row
  • 80 Butterfly Sit-Ups
  • 1 KM Row
  • 90 Wall Balls (14/10)

Race times will begin at 11:30am with men going first, followed by the women’s heat at around 1:30pm

dODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

SATURDAY, MARCH 14TH

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball! Take a break from the gym for a different kinda workout – Dodgeball combines athleticism, hilarity, and a lot of swearing all in one great sport.

This tournament will pit teams of 6-10, randomly formed, players against each other vying for Dodgeball supremacy! Sign-up is individual only to promote socialization, equity, and fun! Prizes for 1st & 2nd place, plus draw prizes just for showing up! 

Basic Rules: 6 vs 6 start each game with 6 balls on the centre line. All players must do start on the ground and do 3 burpees before they can run and grab 1 ball, then retreat behind the attack line before the first throw. Players can only hold 1 ball at a time, unless its to catch a thrown ball. Play until all players on one team are out or time is up. Teams will play as many games as possible in 25-minutes of a round-robin followed by semis and finals. Guaranteed 3 games max of 6 . Full rules to come!
